How many licenses will I need for dual boot machines?
SOLUTION:
LabStats uses the MAC address of the machine to identify it as a unique ID in the DB. If you are using the same MAC address for both OSs you will only need one license. With only one MAC address you will only see the current, or last used, OS show up on the web interface in the 'Clients' section. If you would like to have both OSs show up on the web interface you will need to use two different NICs as explained in this article: http://helpdesk.computerlabsolutions.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=64. However, to display both OSs a second licenses will be required.
